Potassium Permanganate in small concentrations has an astringent effect and works as an antiseptic agent. However, in highly concentrated solutions Potassium Permanganate works as an irritant and causes burning. This solution is effective for the treatment of burns and ulcers. The property of the Potassium Permanganate renders harmless some poisons and is used as the base ingredient for pumping the stomach and eases the symptoms of accidental poisoning.

Recommended usage: For skin conditions apply on the surfaces of burns, ulcers, and infected wounds. For mouth and throat conditions gargle. Potassium Permanganate can be used to wash and irrigate the areas affected by gynecologic and urinary diseases (vagina and urethra). For pumping or purging the stomach in case of poisoning, caused by internal use of many alkaloids - such as morphine, aconitine, and nicotine - cyanic acid, phosphorus, and quinine. This solution can be used to irrigate lesions of the eyes caused by insect bites. This product is for external use only. Recommended dosage: Dilute in water in the following concentrations, for bathing of the wounds (0.1 - 0.5%), for gargling of the mouth and the throat (0.01 - 0.1%), for washing burn and ulcer surfaces (2 - 5%), for irrigation (0.02 - 0.1%) in gynecologic and urology practice or for cleansing of the stomach in case of intoxication.

Do not use in cases of hypersensivity.

Side effects include allergic reactions. When not diluted properly this solution can produce burns and irritation.
